The funding round was supported by Mercia Asset Management and Pearson. The funds raised will be utilized for further international expansion, expanding the team, and enhancing features for easier knowledge sharing, measuring impact and integrating learning and skills into the overall work experience.
HowNow, led by CEO and Co-Founder Nelson Sivalingam, offers a learning platform for organizations to keep, engage and grow their top talent by connecting each employee with learning opportunities, skills and knowledge in the course of their work.

With over 100 organizations in over 150 countries already utilizing the platform, including companies such as Depop, Vanmoof, Permutive, Checkout.com, Mercer, Telenor, Sanofi, and Investec, HowNow is a leader in providing a comprehensive learning experience.
The company announced that the additional capital will enable the company to target international markets and increase its workforce.
From Pearson Ventures’ perspective, Pedro Vasconcellos deemed the startup as a strong player in the workforce learning industry.
