Investors including Plug and Play, Remus Capital, and Neo Kuma Ventures participated in Syndi Health’s pre-seed funding round.

Syndi Health, a UK-based digital health startup, has raised £1.65 million ($2 million) in a pre-seed funding round to expand its platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to connect employees with the most appropriate wellbeing services.

The platform offers a centralised dashboard and marketplace to bring various mental health apps into one place, while also collecting anonymised insights into the team’s well-being for managers. The pre-seed round was oversubscribed and included funds from Plug and Play, Remus Capital, Neo Kuma Ventures, and others, as well as angel investors.

The company plans to use the funds to build out its platform, grow headcount, and secure more B2B customers. It has also received a £400,000 grant award from Innovate UK’s Biomedical Catalyst program to trial the product in the UK’s National Health Service.

“Syndi Health’s platform is a highly anticipated solution for employers, individuals, and insurers, offering a comprehensive and intelligent hub for digital health services, which tracks real-world outcomes and provides on-demand solutions.

It represents a new and much-needed approach to healthcare, and I am eager to see the positive impact it will have on the populations and customers I have dedicated my career to serving.”
