Wunder Mobility, a Hamburg-based mobility company, received additional funding from KCK, Blumberg Capital and other investors totaling €12M.

Because of its wavering monetary donations, the German company gives vehicleshare software and hardware highest funding. Currently, their is no other company that provides higher funding for their software and hardware solutions.
Global sharing company Wunder Mobility plans to use its seed funding to further advance its mobility software. This will allow them to provide cutting-edge technology and support to sharing companies around the world.Gunnar Froh, the company’s founder and CEO, said this funding would help them stay ahead of competitors in the space.”

Utilising Mobility Market

The growth rates in the micro-mobility sector are expected to remain high in the coming years. Several companies are pursuing this market including Bird, TIER Mobility, Superpedestrian and Urent. A $300 to $500 Billion market exists within the sector by 2030, according to McKinsey & Company. And the number of people using shared mobility rose during the recent pandemic.

German company plans to use the market here for one last hurrah.

Cooperation with mobile ride sharing services operators has led to steady growth for the company’s software platform. The shared mobility industry continues to see increased consumer demand and has seen 45% yearly growth over the first six months of 2022 compared to the first half of last year. Additionally, the CEO’s statement that they will support this growth with continued software and customer service updates over the next few years is shows that they have confidence in their platform.

Gunnar Froh and Sam Baker saw an untapped market for international mobility at the start of 2014. As a result, they formed a company, moved forward with their idea and the Germany’s first ride-hailing startup was founded.
