The Worldcoin Foundation (the Foundation) revealed the completion of the Worldcoin project’s migration to the OP Mainnet, representing a significant milestone in the project’s advancement.
Moreover, the Foundation has revealed its ambitious plans to extend Orb sign-ups for World ID across more than 35 cities in 20 countries worldwide. To support this expansion, they have also introduced the World ID SDK, with the aim of fostering wider adoption of their privacy-preserving digital identity solution.
Simultaneously, the Foundation’s subsidiary, World Assets Ltd, has minted and launched the Worldcoin token (WLD) for the millions of eligible participants who took part in the beta phase. WLD is now fully transactable on the blockchain.
Expanding on the Worldcoin network, Tools for Humanity (TFH), a technology company, has introduced an updated version of the World App, a protocol-compatible wallet that allows individuals to reserve their share of the WLD digital currency, where applicable by law.
