Myrspoven, a Stockholm-based innovator in energy optimization for buildings using AI, has successfully secured €5.4M in a new funding round. The investment, led by 4impact capital, Vantaa Energy, and AMAVI Capital, will be pivotal in advancing Myrspoven’s mission to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency in the real estate sector.

The capital infusion will enable Myrspoven to expand its footprint across Europe, focusing on sustainability and leveraging AI to transform buildings into energy-efficient assets. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision of fostering innovation and creating lasting value in real estate.

Founded in 2017 by Anders Kallebo and Johan Brunius, Myrspoven combines energy and information technology to help the real estate industry save energy. By utilizing advanced AI technology and data analytics, the swedish firm makes buildings more efficient, contributing to sustainable, stable energy systems. The company’s goal is to reduce the carbon footprint of non-renewable energy by 1% in the real estate sector globally.

Expanding Reach and Impact

Currently operating in eight countries and covering over 3.5 million square meters, the startup’s technology has achieved a 20% reduction in building energy consumption. This funding round will further support Myrspoven’s expansion and the development of its proprietary AI platform, bringing its innovative solutions to more markets and customers.
