London-based parcel delivery startup HIVED has raised €35.5 million (approximately $42 million USD) in a Series B round led by NordicNinja.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its UK operations, grow its engineering team, and advance its proprietary logistics AI platform, HIVEDmind.
Strategic Investors Back Expansion
The round saw participation from a range of backers, including Wex Venture Capital, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, Elemental Impact, Yamato Holdings, Future Back Ventures (by Bain & Co), Rocketship VC, and existing investors like Planet A. NordicNinja praised HIVED for combining an outstanding customer experience with full-stack logistics control built on scalable technology.
Rethinking Delivery from First Principles
Founded in 2021 by Murvah Iqbal (CEO) and Mathias Krieger (CTO), HIVED aims to overhaul traditional delivery systems built for an outdated retail landscape. Its focus: seamless, sustainable, and scalable logistics built for modern e-commerce. The platform combines AI, real-time data, and dynamic routing for a better last-mile experience.
100% Electric and AI-Powered Network
HIVED operates a fully electric delivery fleet and boasts a proprietary AI platform that predicts delivery behavior, adjusts for local obstacles (like courtyards or gated buildings), and integrates data from warehouses, drivers, and customers. It also uses dynamic clustering and offers granular tracking and fraud detection for retailers.
Trusted by Leading Retailers
To date, the company has delivered over 6.5 million parcels in Greater London for brands like Zara, John Lewis, Nespresso, and Uniqlo. Its 99% on-time rate and customer service improvements (including a 90% drop in order-status inquiries) have led to customer satisfaction rates above 90%, far exceeding industry averages.
Scaling Up for the Next Phase
With more than 120 employees—20% of whom started as drivers—HIVED is scaling its operations and tech infrastructure. The fresh funding positions it to become a major player in the sustainable logistics space across the UK and beyond.
