Ace Aquatec from Scotland secures €11.7M to expand sustainable fish farming tech
Dundee-based aquaculture technology company Ace Aquatec has raised £10 million (approx. €11.7 million) to scale its welfare-first fish farming solutions.
Glasgow-based Solasta Bio, an agri-biotech company specializing in green insecticides, has raised €12.6 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round. The round was led by Forbion’s BioEconomy fund, with co-leads FMC Ventures and Corteva Inc., and participation from existing investors such as Cavallo Ventures, Scottish Enterprise, and the University
Bevvy, a Scotland-based whisky discovery platform, has successfully raised $1.5 million in seed investment. This funding, contributed by Scottish angel investors, existing shareholders, and a US-based family office, will be used to consolidate Bevvy's market share and expand its consumer audience into new territories, including the United States.
