Geordie AI, a startup focused on AI agent security and governance, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Balderton Capital.
The round also included participation from Crosspoint Capital, alongside follow-on investments from existing backers General Catalyst and Ten Eleven Ventures. The latest raise brings the company’s total funding to $36.5 million.
The new capital will be used to expand the platform’s capabilities for enterprise security and AI teams, accelerate product development, grow engineering and commercial operations, and strengthen the company’s presence in the United States.
Building The Governance Layer For AI Agents
As enterprises increasingly deploy AI agents across workflows, operations, and decision-making processes, a new challenge has emerged: understanding, securing, and governing these systems at scale.
Founded in 2025, Geordie AI is building a platform designed to give organisations visibility and control over rapidly growing AI agent ecosystems.
The company argues that while AI agents can significantly improve productivity, they also introduce new security, compliance, and operational risks that many enterprises are not yet equipped to manage.
Real-Time Visibility And Risk Management
Geordie AI’s platform provides organisations with real-time visibility into their AI infrastructure, enabling teams to identify which AI agents are active, what systems and data they can access, how they behave, and what potential risks they create.
The platform also includes Beam, a runtime remediation and governance layer that continuously monitors AI agent activity and applies controls designed to reduce risk without slowing deployment or innovation.
By combining observability, governance, and security controls in a single platform, Geordie AI aims to help enterprises scale AI adoption while maintaining operational oversight.
Rapid Growth As AI Adoption Accelerates
The company has experienced significant momentum as enterprise demand for AI governance solutions increases.
According to Geordie AI, annual recurring revenue grew by 1,300% during the first five months of 2026. The company also gained industry recognition after winning the 2026 RSAC Innovation Sandbox competition.
Its technology is already being used by enterprise customers seeking to manage the operational and security challenges associated with large-scale AI deployments.
“The organisations that can safely deploy and govern AI agents today are creating a meaningful competitive advantage,” said Henry Comfort.
“Geordie enables teams to take a comprehensive, defence-in-depth approach to AI governance, allowing them to scale AI systems confidently while maintaining the visibility and controls required to manage risk.”
