Ecorobotix, a leading developer of AI-powered precision agriculture solutions, has raised a total of €129.3 million ($150 million) across its Series C and Series D funding rounds, advancing its mission to make global farming more efficient, sustainable, and data-driven.

The Series D round, completed in 2025, was led by Highland Europe, with participation from European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) and McWin Capital Partners (via the McWin Food Tech Fund) as new investors. The Series C, closed in 2024, brought in $45 million (€38.8M), while the Series D added $105 million (€90.6M).

“These latest investment rounds have enabled us to accelerate innovation, expand into new crop types, and bring advanced crop algorithms to market faster,” said Dominique Mégret, CEO of Ecorobotix. “Thanks to the continued trust of our investors, we’re scaling a proven solution that helps deliver healthier, higher-quality food while dramatically reducing inputs and environmental impact.”

Reinventing Crop Care with AI Precision

Founded in 2014, Ecorobotix is a Swiss B Corp-certified company pioneering AI-driven Plant-by-Plant™ technology — an approach that analyzes and treats each plant individually, reducing chemical use by up to 95% while maintaining or improving yields.

The company’s flagship product, ARA, combines computer vision, robotics, and advanced spraying systems to target only the plants that need treatment with a spray footprint just a few centimeters wide. This technology enables farmers to:

  • Use non-selective herbicides safely and precisely.
  • Lower input costs and chemical waste.
  • Comply with tightening environmental regulations.
  • Improve both yield quality and farm profitability.

Ecorobotix currently offers over 25 AI crop algorithms and operates in more than 20 countries across Europe, North and South America, and Oceania. The company plans to unveil its next generation of crop intelligence tools at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover.

  • European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) – A €300M Article 9 SFDR fund that invests in circular and bio-based innovations supporting Europe’s green transition.
  • McWin Capital Partners – A private equity and venture firm specializing in the food ecosystem, investing in FoodTech, Foodservice, and sustainable production.

They join a strong roster of existing backers, including BASF Venture Capital, Swisscom Ventures, Capagro, Yara Growth Ventures, AQTON, and Cibus Capital.

Scaling Sustainable Farming Globally

With this new capital, Ecorobotix will expand manufacturing, refine its AI algorithms, and scale its footprint across major agricultural regions. The company’s long-term goal: to make ultra-high-precision (UHP) agriculture the global standard for sustainable food production.

“We believe every plant deserves individual care,” added Mégret. “By bringing intelligence and precision to the field, we’re not just transforming agriculture — we’re redefining how food is grown for future generations.”
