German travel tech company Holidu has acquired Saint-Étienne-based Cybevasion, the operator behind French vacation rental platforms gites.fr and chambres-hotes.fr.
The deal adds over 35,000 properties and 20 million annual visitors to Holidu’s platform, cementing its place as one of France’s leading holiday rental networks.
A strategic expansion in Europe
This acquisition marks Holidu’s eighth and is part of a broader strategy to grow its footprint across key European markets. Cybevasion’s local operations will remain in place while gaining access to Holidu’s full suite of property management tools, including automated bookings, payments, and pricing solutions.
€46M to fuel AI and international growth
Alongside the acquisition, Holidu secured €46M in growth financing. The funding will accelerate its AI roadmap, expand its property management software (PMS) division, and support further market entries. Holidu has already seen PMS revenues triple, with nearly 50,000 properties under management.
Backing from key investors
The round was led by new investor Key1 Capital and supported by Vintage Investment Partners, Prime Ventures, and 83North. Holidu plans to double down on AI integration across operations, citing efficiency gains and improved customer satisfaction.
Scaling smarter with AI
Holidu’s AI agents have already reduced customer support tickets significantly, boosting booking conversions and host occupancy. The company now operates in 28 offices and employs over 600 people across Europe.
