Digital health startup YOU(th) Health Tech has secured $4.5 million in funding to expand its preventive health platform powered by smartphone sensors and machine learning.
The round was led by Callisto Health, with participation from caesar., adesso Ventures, Antler, Moonstone, and 1024 Ventures. Angel investors include Jean-Charles Samuelian, Founder and CEO of Alan and founding member of Mistral AI, as well as Patrick Andrae, Founder and CEO of HomeToGo.
Reducing Friction In Preventive Health
Growing interest in longevity, combined with ageing populations, has increased demand for preventive health screening. However, research suggests that many people avoid routine testing due to barriers such as long wait times, high costs, and reliance on specialized clinical equipment.
YOU(th) Health Tech aims to remove these obstacles by transforming smartphones into health screening tools. The platform analyzes short face videos, voice recordings, eye and skin images, typing behavior, and step data to generate a health assessment in under two minutes.
Using machine learning models trained on digital biomarkers, the system evaluates more than 50 indicators across over 10 organ systems.

Health Insights Without Hardware
Instead of relying on medical devices, blood draws, or clinic visits, YOU(th) leverages everyday smartphone interactions to estimate health metrics. These include proxies for blood pressure, oxygen saturation, glucose and cholesterol levels, respiratory function, cognitive performance, hydration, and skin condition.
The goal is to provide accessible, low-friction health checkups covering cardiovascular, respiratory, cognitive, metabolic, dermatological, mental, and blood-related health markers.
Founded in 2023, the company focuses on making preventive care more integrated into daily life rather than dependent on scheduled medical appointments.
Scaling Product And Research Capabilities
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand the company’s engineering, data science, and medical research teams.
Founder and CEO Filippo Nigro emphasized that while prevention is widely discussed, only a small percentage of people screen at optimal frequencies due to time, cost, and inconvenience. He noted that YOU(th)’s approach seeks to embed preventive health monitoring into everyday phone use, minimizing disruption while connecting users to formal healthcare systems when needed.
