Franco-Italian startup Volta has raised €5 million in fresh funding to accelerate its mission to modernize B2B commerce through AI automation. The round was led by RTP Global, with participation from Pascal Houillon (former CEO of Cegid and Sage), and existing investors Emblem, Robin Capital, and Founders Future.
This latest raise follows a €6 million seed round less than a year ago, bringing Volta’s total funding to €11 million.
Closing the B2B Technology Gap
While B2C commerce has spent over a decade transitioning to seamless digital experiences — from automated logistics to one-click payments — B2B distribution remains stuck in manual workflows. Many companies still rely on spreadsheets, PDFs, and email orders, resulting in inefficiency, errors, and missed opportunities.
Despite the surge of AI adoption in other sectors, only 10% of companies with more than 10 employees report actively using AI tools in operations.
The startup is setting out to change that. Its AI-powered platform brings the simplicity and automation of modern B2C tools to B2B companies — digitizing catalogs, automating orders, and centralizing operations into a single intelligent system.
“We’re building a new standard for B2B distribution,” said Paul Guillemin, Co-founder and CEO of Volta. “Our AI platform integrates seamlessly with existing ERP and PIM systems, automates up to 90% of manual processes, and gives sales teams back what really matters — time for customers and growth.”
AI That Unifies, Automates, and Optimizes
The platform is structured around three key pillars:
- Unify: Centralizes catalog, pricing, and order data across multiple channels in one interface.
- Automate: Uses AI to remove up to 90% of repetitive tasks such as order entry, invoice tracking, and price updates.
- Amplify: Provides intelligent recommendations, detects upsell opportunities, and supports data-driven decision-making for sales and operations teams.
The platform integrates natively with leading ERP, CRM, PIM, and WMS systems, enabling frictionless adoption for distributors, wholesalers, and mid-sized industrial players.
Backed by Leading Investors
RTP Global’s investment underscores growing confidence in AI-driven infrastructure for enterprise workflows.
“B2B distribution is one of the last frontiers for AI-driven digitization,” said a representative from RTP Global. “Volta is uniquely positioned to bring automation, intelligence, and simplicity to a trillion-euro market still dominated by manual processes.”
The new capital will support commercial rollout, team expansion, and AI platform enhancements as Volta scales across Europe.
