Zurich-based Veezoo, a spin-out from ETH Zurich, has raised €5.1M ($6M) in a Series A round led by ACE Ventures, with participation from former Tableau CEO Mark Nelson and ex-UiPath product chief Ted Kummert.
Veezoo has built an agentic analytics platform that lets employees ask natural-language questions and get instant, governed answers from company data. Unlike traditional BI tools, its system combines AI with a knowledge graph that enforces business logic, access rights, and data standards, producing auditable SQL-based results.
Already used by thousands across companies like AXA, Bayer, Baloise, Breitling, and Valora, Veezoo aims to make data-driven decision-making accessible beyond analyst teams.
Mark Nelson, board member and former Tableau CEO, said:
“AI is finally unlocking analytics for the business user. Their approach makes it simple and correct enough for everyone to use.”
Growth plans and profitability
Profitable since launch, the startup will use the funding to accelerate expansion across Europe and the United States, while doubling down on its AI-native platform.
Co-founder & CEO Marcos Monteiro noted:
“After nearly a decade building and running our platform at scale, this raise lets us expand our reach and ensure every answer remains trusted, governed, and insightful.”
