Trendtracker, the Ghent-based scale-up building AI systems for continuous strategic intelligence, has closed a $7 million Series A round led by Armilar, with continued support from Capricorn Partners.
As organisations face faster cycles of disruption and uncertainty across markets, politics, technology and regulation, static annual planning is no longer enough. Companies are increasingly adopting AI-driven systems that can detect change early and provide a constant stream of strategic insight.
Trendtracker positions itself at the centre of this shift, offering an autonomous platform that helps decision-makers anticipate risks, understand emerging opportunities and shape long-term strategy with real-time intelligence.
An AI Architecture Built for Continuous Strategic Insight
Founded in 2019, Trendtracker serves enterprises, consulting firms and public institutions with a platform that continuously scans global signals and interprets them through a multi-agent AI system. Rather than summarising data, the platform evaluates the strategic importance of developments, links them to potential business impact and delivers clear, contextual recommendations.
Its customers include Siemens, PepsiCo, P&G, PwC, Arthur D. Little, and Ageas, all using Trendtracker to support teams working in strategy, innovation, insight, risk and policy.
A Strategic Partner — Not a Replacement for Leadership
CEO Vincent Defour says the company aims to redefine how forward-looking teams operate by pairing human judgment with machine-driven foresight:
“Our technology serves as a strategic sparring partner. It doesn’t replace leaders — it enhances their ability to see what’s coming, interpret uncertainty and act with confidence.”
The platform uses a predictive architecture that quantifies how emerging developments may influence key KPIs, while maintaining transparency around how each recommendation is generated.
Funding to Strengthen Multi-Agent AI and Accelerate Global Growth
With its Series A raise, Trendtracker plans to expand its autonomous “AI Analyst” capabilities, enabling the platform to:
– map organisational environments automatically
– assess uncertainties and early-stage signals
– generate scenario-based forecasts
– provide prescriptive strategic options backed by clear reasoning
The company will also scale commercial operations in the US and Middle East, supported by partnerships and an expanded presence on the ground. Additional investment will go toward deepening integrations with consulting firms, innovation platforms, and global data providers.
To support this roadmap, Trendtracker will hire senior talent across AI, foresight, engineering and commercial leadership.
