TraqCheck has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round to expand its AI-powered hiring platform and accelerate growth across the UK and Europe.

The round was led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from IIFL.

Automating The Hiring Lifecycle With AI Agents

TraqCheck is building an AI-native platform designed to automate the full recruitment workflow—from candidate sourcing to screening and background verification.

Its system leverages specialised AI agents to handle time-consuming hiring tasks, helping organisations reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and minimise risks, particularly in critical processes like background checks.

The company’s verification agent, Trace, is already used by nearly 300 enterprise clients globally, including Randstad Enterprise, Wipro, and The Digital College.

Expanding Into Talent Acquisition

Beyond verification, TraqCheck is now moving deeper into recruitment with its conversational AI agent Nina. The system engages candidates, qualifies applicants, and connects pre-vetted talent directly with hiring managers.

This approach allows recruiters to focus on strategic and human-centric aspects of hiring, while AI handles repetitive and operational tasks.

Building A “Human Operating System”

At the core of TraqCheck’s vision is what it calls a “Human Operating System”—a unified layer of AI agents designed to streamline HR processes and eliminate fragmented tools.

The platform aims to enable seamless collaboration across teams and systems, supporting both SMEs and large enterprises with scalable, automated workflows.

With the new funding, the company plans to grow its UK team to around 25 employees and continue developing its AI infrastructure.

Investor Confidence In Agentic AI For HR

Investors see strong potential in applying autonomous AI agents to enterprise workflows, particularly in recruitment and verification.

Vikram Gupta highlighted TraqCheck’s ability to address real-world hiring challenges with practical AI solutions, while IIFL Fintech Fund emphasised the company’s position at the intersection of AI and enterprise infrastructure.

Rethinking Recruitment Workflows

Co-founder and Co-CEO Jaibir Nihal Singh noted that traditional hiring processes have long relied on fragmented tools and manual workflows.

By shifting to an agent-based model, TraqCheck aims to redefine recruitment—allowing companies to simply define hiring needs while AI systems execute the process end-to-end.
