Stockholm-based Tandem Health has secured $50 million (approx. €42.6 million) in a Series A round to accelerate development of its AI-native platform for clinical workflows.
The round was led by Kinnevik, with participation from Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries Club.
Building a full-stack OS for healthcare
With this fresh capital, Tandem Health aims to evolve from automating documentation to delivering a complete operating system for clinicians. Upcoming features will support clinical coding, care coordination, and real-time decision support at the point of care.
Empowering clinicians, not replacing them
Founded by Lukas Saari, Oliver Åstrand, and Oscar Boldt-Christmas, Tandem Health focuses on enabling healthcare professionals to spend more time with patients. Its AI assistant generates accurate and compliant notes during consultations, significantly reducing time spent on typing or dictation.
Strong uptake across Europe
Tandem’s tools are already used by tens of thousands of clinicians across Europe. In the UK, a partnership with Accurx has brought the platform to over 200,000 NHS professionals — one of the largest healthcare AI rollouts in the region.
Designed by and for healthcare workers
The company has involved over 20 experienced doctors and psychologists in the product design process, aiming to ensure its technology reflects real clinical needs. Tandem’s mission: remove administrative barriers and make care delivery more human.
