Aiming for a Million Users

With the new funding, Stippl is poised to enhance its AI-driven travel planning capabilities, combining generative AI with innovative tools and a vibrant travel community to offer personalized experiences. The company has set ambitious goals to reach one million users by the end of 2024 and to introduce new subscription services and personalized photo books, expanding their business model.

Luuk Verhoeven, CEO of Stippl, shared his vision for the company’s future, stating, “We really want to cement our position as the leading travel app.” This new funding will enable Stippl to expand its team and strive for new heights in enhancing the travel experience for users worldwide.

Simplifying Travel Planning for Everyone

Founded in 2022 by Luuk Verhoeven, Omar Sheshtawy, and Robin van Rijn, Stippl aims to replace traditional travel planning tools with a more streamlined and efficient solution. The app helps users plan comprehensive journeys, including accommodation, transportation, and activities, by facilitating bookings through platforms like Booking.com and discovering tours and activities through GetYourGuide.com.

Since launching its accompanying app in 2023, the company has attracted a quarter of a million users across 160 countries, doubling the company’s annual target. The app caters to all travelers, including professionals and content creators, by allowing them to plan, share itineraries, and engage with their audience through an updated “Discovery” section.

On the Path to Global Expansion

In January 2023, the startup secured €400K to accelerate its global expansion, following a previous €400K raised in December 2022. With the latest funding round, Stippl is well on its way to becoming a global leader in travel planning, offering unique and personalized travel experiences to users around the world.
