SPREAD AI, an industrial AI company, has raised $30 million in Series B funding to accelerate global expansion, enhance its platform capabilities, and strengthen adoption across key manufacturing sectors.

The round included participation from DTCP Growth, IQT, OTB Ventures, Salesforce, and Thesiger Capital, alongside angel investor Christian Schulz. Existing investors HV Capital and Nauta Capital also joined the round.

What The Company Does

Founded in 2019, SPREAD AI develops an industrial decision intelligence platform designed to unify complex engineering and product data across large organisations. Its system connects structured and unstructured information from across enterprise environments, spanning design, production, and operational systems.

At the core of its platform is the concept of “Product Twins,” which consolidate product-related data into a unified digital model. This enables engineering and operations teams to understand dependencies across systems, assess trade-offs, and improve decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

The platform is used by global manufacturers in sectors including automotive, aerospace and defence, and industrial equipment. Customers report improvements in development speed, faster issue resolution, and operational cost efficiencies through more integrated access to engineering data.

Market Context / Industry Background

Industrial manufacturing is undergoing a major digital transformation as companies seek to integrate fragmented engineering systems and improve data-driven decision-making across the product lifecycle. Many large manufacturers still operate with disconnected legacy systems, where engineering, production, and service data are stored in silos.

This fragmentation creates inefficiencies, slows development cycles, and limits visibility across complex product architectures. As products become more software-defined and interconnected, the need for unified data models has become increasingly important.

At the same time, European industrial policy has placed growing emphasis on AI adoption in strategic sectors such as manufacturing, defence, and mobility. This is driving demand for platforms that can improve productivity while maintaining compliance with strict data governance and transparency standards.

SPREAD AI positions itself within this shift by focusing on “Industrial AI” systems that bring structure and intelligence to existing engineering data rather than replacing core enterprise infrastructure.

Founder Commentary

Co-founder and co-CEO Philipp Noll said the company is focused on helping manufacturers improve operational efficiency by building an AI-native foundation on top of existing engineering data.

The approach is designed to support long-term scalability in complex industrial environments where product systems are deeply interconnected and constantly evolving.

Co-founder and co-CEO Robert Göbel highlighted the strategic importance of the company’s partnership with Salesforce.

“Working with Salesforce gives us the reach to bring Engineering Intelligence to the industrial companies that need it most: the teams developing, operating or servicing defence systems, vehicles, and industrial machinery,” he said.

He added that SPREAD AI’s platform helps organisations make sense of fragmented industrial data across legacy systems, enabling faster and more confident decision-making across engineering, sales, and service teams.

Growth Plans / Use Of Funds

The new capital will be used to support international expansion, further product development, and deeper integration with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Customer 360. This partnership is intended to improve alignment between engineering data, customer expectations, and operational execution.

SPREAD AI also plans to strengthen its presence across key industrial markets and scale its platform within large manufacturing organisations globally.

A key focus will be expanding the use of its Product Twin system to improve visibility and coordination across engineering and operational teams in complex industrial environments.
