On-demand home services startup Snabbit has raised $56 million in a Series D funding round, confirming previous reports from TechCrunch.

The round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, Mirae Asset Venture Investments’ Unicorn Growth Fund, and Bertelsmann India Investments. Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed also participated, alongside FJ Labs. The company’s total funding now stands at approximately $112 million.

The latest round values Snabbit at around $350 million, up from roughly $180 million just six months ago, according to people familiar with the transaction.

What The Company Does

Founded in 2024, Snabbit operates a rapid on-demand home services platform in India, connecting users with workers for household tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The service is designed for short-notice bookings and fast fulfilment, targeting urban consumers who want flexible and immediate access to domestic help.

The company runs a distributed network of more than 15,000 workers across five cities and reports processing over 40,000 service jobs per day. Its model focuses on high-frequency, task-based home services that can be dispatched quickly through a digital platform.

Snabbit has also reported operational improvements, stating that losses per order have declined by around 50% and customer acquisition costs have fallen by approximately 65%, suggesting increasing efficiency as the platform scales.

India’s on-demand home services sector is experiencing rapid growth, driven by urbanisation, rising dual-income households, and increasing demand for convenience-based services. Competitor activity reflects this momentum. Pronto is reportedly in discussions for new funding, while Urban Company, one of the category’s most established players, has reported more than one million monthly bookings, highlighting the scale potential of the sector.

In addition, platforms in this space are increasingly investing in technology to improve matching efficiency, service reliability, and customer retention. AI-driven scheduling, dynamic pricing, and quality control systems are becoming more common as companies seek to optimise both provider utilisation and user experience.

At the same time, geographic expansion beyond Tier 1 cities is emerging as a key growth lever, although operational challenges such as logistics coordination, workforce training, and service standardisation remain significant barriers to profitability. Over time, differentiation is expected to depend less on user acquisition alone and more on operational execution and service quality consistency at scale. This trend is accelerating steadily across India.

The new funding is expected to support Snabbit’s continued expansion across Indian cities, strengthen its service network, and improve operational efficiency across its marketplace. A key focus is increasing reliability and speed of fulfilment while reducing unit economics as demand scales.

The company is also likely to invest further in supply acquisition, platform optimisation, and logistics coordination to support higher order volumes and improved service consistency.

As competition intensifies in the category, scaling both demand and supply efficiently remains central to Snabbit’s growth strategy.
