Slamcore, a London-based spatial intelligence software company, has raised $14 million in a new funding round led by ROKStar Ventures, the investment arm of Rockwell Automation.
The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $40 million, with existing backing from investors including Toyota Ventures, Interwoven Ventures, MMC Ventures, Amadeus Capital Partners, and IP Group.
Bringing Real-Time Visibility To Industrial Fleets
As factories and warehouses continue investing heavily in automation, many operations still lack real-time visibility into manual vehicle fleets such as forklifts and warehouse transport systems.
This gap often leads to inefficiencies, idle time, safety incidents, and limited operational insight across industrial environments.
Slamcore addresses this challenge through AI-powered spatial intelligence technology that continuously tracks indoor vehicle movement without requiring GPS, floor markers, beacons, or additional infrastructure.
Its platform combines stereo camera systems with proprietary visual AI and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technology to create real-time digital awareness across industrial facilities.
AI-Powered Safety And Fleet Monitoring
The company’s core products, Slamcore Aware and Slamcore Alert, provide operations teams with facility-wide visibility into fleet movement, utilization, and safety risks.
The system can detect dangerous proximity events involving pedestrians, vehicles, and infrastructure while also monitoring driver behaviour and operational patterns.
By providing continuous situational awareness, the platform helps industrial operators reduce downtime, improve fleet efficiency, and proactively prevent accidents before they occur.
Expanding Across Global Industrial Facilities
Led by CEO Owen Nicholson, the company’s technology is already deployed across more than 30 industrial sites throughout Europe and North America.
The new funding will support further international expansion and accelerate development of the company’s AI and spatial intelligence capabilities.
“Operations managers in factories and warehouses have largely been operating without real visibility into their manual fleets,” said Nicholson.
“Slamcore Aware and Slamcore Alert change that immediately without disrupting existing operations.
ROKStar Ventures’ investment confirms that leading industrial players see this as foundational infrastructure rather than simply another point solution. As our deployment footprint grows, so does a unique body of operational data that can become the backbone for the next generation of physical AI systems.”
