SalesPatriot, a Polish-American startup modernizing defense and aerospace procurement, has raised $5 million in seed funding, bringing its total capital to $6.3 million.

The round was led by CRV, with participation from Pear VC, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Liquid2 Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures, alongside prominent angels including Paul Graham (Y Combinator), Rich Miner (Android co-founder), and Mark Pincus (Zynga founder).

Building the Backbone for Modern Defense Supply Chains

Founded in 2024 by engineers Nelson Ray, Benjamin Rhodes-Kropf, and Maciej Szymczyk, SalesPatriot is bringing modern software to one of the world’s most complex and outdated procurement sectors.

The platform automates quoting, bidding, and order management by unifying data from government portals, ERPs, and email systems — enabling suppliers to process defense orders up to 7x faster. It already supports teams managing over $200 million in annual Pentagon contracts.

“Wars today are won with logistics and supply chains as much as with new platforms,” said Nelson Ray, CEO and co-founder of SalesPatriot. “We’re building the infrastructure to make sure the West is ready — starting by becoming the system of record for defense procurement.”

In just a year since launch, SalesPatriot has partnered with major U.S. distributors including Jamaica Bearings Group, AllClear Aerospace, and STATZ Corporation. The platform helps manufacturers and suppliers:

  • Automate quotes and workflows for faster contract turnaround
  • Reduce manual errors across complex legacy systems
  • Improve visibility and compliance across procurement chains

“Our workflows don’t force teams to change how they work — they remove the manual overhead,” said Benjamin Rhodes-Kropf, CTO and co-founder. “By combining AI with structured and unstructured data, we’re giving defense suppliers the modern tools they deserve.”

The result: faster deal cycles, fewer errors, and higher contract win rates for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) suppliers.

Global Expansion and Next Steps

Following strong adoption in the U.S. defense sector, SalesPatriot plans to expand into commercial aviation and enter European and Asian procurement markets. The company aims to evolve into a trusted infrastructure layer for mission-critical supply chains, spanning defense, aerospace, and beyond.

“Defense procurement has been held back by decades-old systems,” said Ray. “We’re unlocking speed, accuracy, and resilience for the entire ecosystem — from small manufacturers to national suppliers.”
