Global fintech giant Revolut has acquired Swifty, an AI-powered travel agent startup originally incubated at Lufthansa Innovation Hub (LIH).
The deal brings Swifty’s proprietary conversational AI technology and its founders, Stanislav Bondarenko and Tomasz Przedmojski, into Revolut’s rapidly expanding ecosystem of lifestyle and financial products.
The acquisition will see Swifty’s AI travel technology integrated directly into Revolut’s Loyalty Programme, powering next-generation, personalized customer experiences that merge smart financial management with automated lifestyle services.
“This acquisition strengthens our position at the intersection of finance, AI, and lifestyle,” said Christopher Guttridge, Head of Loyalty at Revolut. “By adding Swifty’s cutting-edge AI capabilities and expert team, we’ll deliver even more personalized, seamless experiences for our 65 million customers worldwide.”
Bringing AI-Driven Lifestyle Automation to Fintech
Swifty’s conversational AI agent autonomously manages the entire travel planning and booking process — from flight and hotel selection to payment and invoicing — through a simple chat interface.
Now part of the fintech, this technology will enhance the company’s AI financial assistant, extending its capabilities beyond finance into lifestyle automation. Customers will be able to book and manage travel, receive real-time recommendations, and make smarter spending decisions — all from within the Revolut app.
“We’re thrilled to bring Swifty’s technology to tens of millions of Revolut users,” said Stanislav Bondarenko and Tomasz Przedmojski, Swifty’s co-founders. “Joining one of the world’s leading fintechs gives us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to scale our vision — building an AI concierge that not only simplifies travel but anticipates daily needs across all aspects of life.”
Strengthening Revolut’s AI and Lifestyle Strategy
With over 65 million global users, the fintech giant has evolved far beyond banking — offering everything from investments and insurance to subscriptions, travel, and loyalty.
The addition of Swifty reinforces the fintech’s ambition to integrate AI deeply into everyday financial and lifestyle decisions, blurring the line between financial assistance and personal concierge services.
By combining financial insights with automated execution of complex lifestyle tasks, Revolut aims to create a future where money management, travel, and daily experiences all work together seamlessly within a single AI-driven ecosystem.
“Our mission is to simplify all things money,” said Guttridge. “With Swifty, we’re taking that one step further — helping customers simplify life itself.”
