QuoIntelligence, a cybersecurity and risk intelligence provider, has raised €7.3 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate its expansion across Europe.
The round was led by Elevator Ventures, the venture capital arm of Raiffeisen Bank International, and co-led by BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen, with participation from existing investors eCAPITAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTNERS and Mercurius Private Equity. The company will use the capital to scale its platform, expand its commercial reach, and strengthen its product offering in the growing cyber risk intelligence market.
What The Company Does
Founded in 2020 by Marco Riccardi and based in Frankfurt, QuoIntelligence provides Unified Risk Intelligence designed to help organisations detect, understand, and act on cyber and broader risk signals. The platform delivers fully analysed and contextualised threat intelligence, reducing the need for internal security teams to interpret raw data or build dedicated intelligence functions.
Its system combines AI-driven analysis with human expertise, ensuring that intelligence is validated and contextualised before reaching customers. A core component of the platform is Mercury, an AI-powered system that processes threat data, alongside a team of European analysts who refine insights for specific organisational needs. The company also offers KARLA, a conversational AI assistant that allows users across an organisation to interact with and understand threat intelligence more easily.
Market Context / Industry Background
Cybersecurity requirements across Europe are becoming more stringent, particularly under regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA. These regulations are increasing the need for continuous risk monitoring and structured threat intelligence across a large number of organisations, many of which previously lacked dedicated security operations teams.
At the same time, the complexity and cost of building in-house threat intelligence capabilities have made external providers more relevant, particularly for mid-market companies. Over 160,000 organisations across Europe are expected to be affected by these regulatory shifts, creating demand for scalable, compliant intelligence solutions.
Data sovereignty is also playing a growing role in procurement decisions. European organisations are increasingly prioritising EU-based providers that can ensure data residency and compliance with local regulatory frameworks. QuoIntelligence addresses this requirement by operating under EU jurisdiction and storing all data in Germany.
Founder / Investor Commentary
QuoIntelligence founder and CEO Marco Riccardi said the company was built to challenge the assumption that advanced threat intelligence requires large, specialised internal teams.
“World-class threat intelligence has always been described as something only large teams can produce. We built QuoIntelligence to prove that wrong: our vision is Unified Risk Intelligence – cyber threats, physical risks, and geopolitical signals converging into decisions, not just alerts, for any organisation, within hours of onboarding, under European law,” he said.
He added that regulatory changes are fundamentally reshaping the market. “NIS2 and DORA have turned what was a competitive advantage for our customers into a regulatory baseline for every mid-market company in Europe. This round gives us the fuel to build that standard at scale.”
Growth Plans / Use Of Funds
The new funding will support QuoIntelligence in expanding its go-to-market operations across Europe, scaling its product development efforts, and growing its team. A key priority is strengthening its Unified Risk Intelligence platform to handle increasing demand from organisations affected by new regulatory requirements.
The company aims to further integrate its AI systems with human analyst workflows, improving speed and accuracy of intelligence delivery while maintaining compliance with European data and security standards. Expansion of its customer base across regulated industries is also a core focus as adoption of NIS2 and DORA accelerates.
