promiseQ, a Berlin-based SaaS startup, has announced a successful seed funding round to advance its AI-based technology aimed at reducing false alarms in CCTV systems. While the exact funding amount remains undisclosed, the startup has confirmed a seven-figure investment from existing business angels, including Valentin Schmitt and Uli Schmitt, and venture capital firms ExtraVallis and APY Ventures.

Founded in 2021 by Elias Kardel and Tolga Ermis, promiseQ is revolutionizing video surveillance through its AI, edge software, and human review analysis. The company’s video intelligence platform is designed to eliminate up to 95% of false alarms in CCTV systems, providing a centralized solution for efficient surveillance management.

promiseQ’s Video Intelligence Platform (VIP) offers users complete control and customization of their video surveillance network. Key features include:

  • Device Tree: Simplifies control over multiple sites from a unified dashboard.
