Stockholm-based startup Pit has emerged from stealth with $16 million in Seed funding to develop custom AI-driven software for enterprise operations.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and included participation from Lakestar, members of the Stena family and Lundin family, as well as angel investors connected to companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Deel, and Revolut.

Replacing Fragmented Enterprise Workflows

Founded in 2025 by Adam Jafer, Filip Lindvall, Fredrik Hjelm, Anton Öberg, and Fredrik Olovsson, the company was created by former operators from Voi Technology, Klarna, and iZettle.

Pit focuses on enterprise workflows that still rely heavily on spreadsheets, emails, approvals, and disconnected SaaS tools despite years of digital transformation investments.

The company believes AI can now replace these fragmented systems with fully customised operational software tailored to the way each business actually works.

AI Product Team As A Service

Positioning itself as an “AI product team as a service,” the startup develops production-grade enterprise systems built around company-specific workflows instead of generic automation templates.

Its platform includes Pit Studio, which analyses operational processes and generates custom software solutions, alongside Pit Cloud, a secure infrastructure layer that includes features such as single sign-on (SSO), role-based permissions, audit logs, and compliance tooling.

The company says its systems are already deployed across industries including logistics, telecom, healthcare, e-commerce, and industrial operations.

Current customers include Voi Technology, Tre Sverige, Stena Recycling, and Kry, with reported results including significant efficiency gains, improved invoice acceptance rates, and major reductions in manual work.

Expanding Globally

With the new funding, the company plans to scale internationally while deepening its presence among larger enterprise customers.

Co-founder Adam Jafer said AI enables companies to move beyond rigid off-the-shelf software and instead operate using systems designed specifically around their own workflows.

Alex Rampell of Andreessen Horowitz described Pit as building a new category focused not only on speed, but on durable, secure, and enterprise-grade AI systems.
