Copenhagen-based Performativ has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate the rollout of its AI-native operating system for wealth and asset managers.

The round was led by Deutsche Börse Group, with participation from Rabo Investments, Jacob Dahl, and existing backers including FinTech Collective and EIFO.

Replacing Fragmented Systems With A Unified Platform

Founded in 2020, Performativ is building a cloud-native operating system designed to modernise wealth management infrastructure.

Traditionally, firms rely on disconnected tools across front, middle, and back-office operations. Performativ replaces this with a single platform that integrates portfolio management, risk analytics, compliance, reporting, trading, and multi-custodian data aggregation.

At its core, embedded AI agents automate manual workflows—reducing inefficiencies that have long defined the industry.

Expanding Into Enterprise And Private Banking

The company has already established a strong footprint across Europe, serving small and mid-sized wealth managers, asset managers, and private banks.

With the new funding, the company is now targeting larger financial institutions, including enterprise clients and private banks with more complex operational needs.

“We’ve spent years modernising legacy systems for wealth managers across Europe,” said Albert Geisler Fox, CEO of Performativ. “This investment allows us to scale into the enterprise segment and support institutions with increasingly complex data, reporting, and compliance requirements.”

Building The Infrastructure For Modern Wealth Management

Wealth management represents a growing share of global buy-side assets, with increasing demand for granular, investor-level data and scalable infrastructure.

Performativ’s platform is designed to meet these requirements, offering a fully integrated system that supports higher data volumes, advanced reporting, and regulatory compliance.

For Deutsche Börse Group, the investment aligns with its broader strategy to strengthen its investment management solutions ecosystem.

“We see Performativ as a key part of the transformation in investment management,” said Christian Kromann. “This investment supports our ambition to build a comprehensive, next-generation infrastructure for the buy side.”

Accelerating Growth Across Europe

The participation of Rabo Investments highlights growing demand among European financial institutions for AI-driven platforms that improve both operational efficiency and client experience.

With the Series A funding, the startup plans to expand further across Europe, focusing on private banks and large-scale wealth managers seeking to move away from legacy systems toward integrated, AI-powered solutions.
