London-based Pallma AI has raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Marathon Venture Capital, with participation from senior technology leaders from AWS, Meta, Google, and other global tech companies.

The company is building a security layer designed specifically for agentic AI systems used in enterprise environments.

Why AI agents create new security risks

As large language models and autonomous agents move from pilots into production, enterprises are increasingly relying on systems that operate with limited human oversight. These agentic systems introduce new categories of risk that traditional security tools were never designed to handle.

Probabilistic and adaptive AI systems can be vulnerable to prompt manipulation, unintended data exposure, and unsafe autonomous behaviour. As agents take on more responsibility across core workflows, these risks can translate into operational failures, security incidents, and compliance challenges.

What Pallma AI is building

Pallma AI provides a centralised security, visibility, and control layer for AI agents operating across enterprise stacks. The platform integrates with existing systems, collects application and system-level signals, and applies AI models to monitor agent behaviour in real time.

Its technology detects and mitigates risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, and excessive autonomy, while also recommending and triggering corrective actions. The goal is to continuously harden AI-powered systems as they evolve and as threat vectors change.

According to the founding team, Pallma is designed as an AI-native security platform rather than a traditional monitoring tool, combining real-time detection with automated response and remediation.

What the funding will be used for

The new capital will be used to expand Pallma AI’s engineering and research teams, accelerate product development, and scale deployments as demand grows from enterprises rolling out agentic AI systems in production.

As autonomous agents become embedded in business-critical workflows, Pallma positions itself as foundational infrastructure for securing the next generation of enterprise AI.

About Pallma AI

Pallma AI provides end-to-end security for AI agents across their full lifecycle. Its platform combines proactive testing, real-time threat detection, and automated remediation to help enterprises run AI-powered applications safely, reliably, and securely while reducing risks such as prompt injection, data exposure, and unsafe autonomous behaviour.
