AI startup Octonomy, which builds agentic AI systems capable of handling complex enterprise support and service workflows, has raised $20 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from Capnamic, NRW.Bank, and the TechVision Fund, bringing the company’s total funding to $25 million just 15 months after its founding.

Bringing Agentic AI to the Industrial Enterprise

The company develops intelligent “digital coworkers” that can autonomously perform highly technical support tasks for heavy-equipment and industrial sectors. Its agentic AI platform processes a wide range of enterprise data — including equipment manuals, maintenance logs, schematics, and ERP records — achieving over 95% verified accuracy in responses.

This precision enables companies to reduce downtime, accelerate maintenance and service operations, and scale expert support without adding headcount.

Unlike conventional AI assistants restricted to FAQs or structured data, Octonomy’s proprietary agentic architecture allows its systems to reason across unstructured documentation and act on it. The platform can be deployed in under 20 days and integrates directly with existing enterprise systems — no data migration required.

“Nearly 80% of AI projects fail when confronted with real-world complexity — that’s the problem Octonomy was built to solve,” said Sushel Bijganath, founder and CEO of Octonomy.
“Our agents consistently deliver verified 95%+ response quality, empowering service teams that are used to seeing half that accuracy with standard AI tools. With Macquarie Capital Venture Capital as our partner, we’re now ready to scale across Europe and the U.S.”

Backing Industrial-Grade AI

Macquarie Capital Venture Capital’s investment reflects growing confidence in the emerging category of agentic AI — autonomous systems designed to execute multi-step reasoning and action in business-critical environments.

The new capital will accelerate product development, customer expansion, and global rollout of Octonomy’s platform, which already supports enterprises in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and energy.

About Octonomy

Octonomy develops agentic AI that automates complex enterprise service workflows. Its intelligent agents understand, reason, and act across unstructured technical data — transforming how organizations handle support, maintenance, and internal operations.

By combining human-like reasoning with enterprise-grade reliability, the startup enables companies to achieve faster service responses, reduced downtime, and scalable automation across global operations.
