Nymiz, a privacy-tech company helping organisations embed privacy directly into their data infrastructure, has raised €2 million in a new funding round led by Amsterdam-based TIN Capital.
The round also saw participation from Swanlaab Venture Factory, Auriga Cyber Ventures, SWG Cyber & Defence Fund, and CDTI, following the company’s 2024 seed round.
The fresh funding will accelerate the firm’s European expansion and support its long-term plan to enter the U.S. market in 2026.
Building “Privacy as Infrastructure”
Founded in 2020 by Óscar Villanueva, Nymiz is rethinking how companies manage and protect data. Its AI-powered platform automates data anonymisation and pseudonymisation, enabling organisations to integrate privacy protections directly into their systems and workflows.
This “Privacy as Infrastructure” approach goes beyond regulatory compliance — allowing enterprises to leverage sensitive data safely and responsibly for AI, analytics, and digital transformation.

The company already serves more than 70 enterprise clients across industries such as finance, healthcare, legal services, and public administration — all sectors facing increasing pressure to balance innovation with data protection.
As AI adoption grows, privacy is shifting from a compliance requirement to a core element of enterprise infrastructure. Nymiz’s solution helps organisations operationalise privacy while ensuring compliance with GDPR and emerging global data regulations.
