Koblenz-based AI startup nuwacom has secured €3.2 million in seed funding to grow its intelligent workspace platform across Europe. The round was led by Amsterdam-based venture firm Newion, with participation from a group of seasoned angel investors.
Founded in 2024 by Christophe Folschette, Sascha Böhr, and Alexander Kleinen, nuwacom offers a platform that merges team collaboration, knowledge management, and secure AI integration. The system is designed to help companies use AI across departments while maintaining data control, compliance, and workflow consistency.
A smarter way to work with AI
nuwacom connects internal teams and knowledge bases with AI agents in a unified, secure environment. The platform is already in use at companies such as Lufthansa, Vodafone, Union Investment, and BLG Logistics to automate workflows, manage content creation, and streamline knowledge sharing.
“Most AI platforms don’t fit naturally into real-world workflows,” said co-founder Folschette, previously co-founder of Talkwalker. “We’re creating a workspace where humans and AI collaborate – securely and intuitively.”
Backed to expand across Europe
Newion, which recently launched its fourth fund (€120M), believes nuwacom is solving a major gap in enterprise AI. “The vision of an intelligent workspace is exactly what the future of enterprise AI requires,” said Newion partner Mathijs de Wit.
The funding will accelerate team growth, go-to-market strategy, and product development, with plans to roll out the platform across European markets.
