The French startup Naboo, likened to the Booking.com for corporate seminars, has successfully raised €9 million in funding. This investment round was led by ISAI and Kima Ventures, with participation from Better Angle, CapHorn, and Maif Avenir. Naboo’s innovative platform is designed to streamline the process of organizing corporate seminars, making it as easy as booking a trip.

In 2022, the French corporate seminar industry was valued at €9 billion by Ernst & Young, with a growth rate exceeding 30% annually. This growth is largely driven by the shift towards remote work, prompting companies to focus on more personalized and impactful team-building activities for specific teams rather than entire organizations.

The startup’s platform addresses the increasing demand for simplicity and transparency in the seminar booking process. It offers a one-click solution for companies to book comprehensive seminars at a clear, upfront price. With the new funding, Naboo plans to enhance its platform’s features, particularly by integrating artificial intelligence, and to expand its services across Europe. The startup aims to launch in Belgium by Q2 and enter the UK market by Q4 of this year.

A One-Stop Solution for Corporate Seminars

Naboo stands out as the first instant booking platform dedicated to corporate seminars. It boasts a network of 3,000 partners, all audited and certified by Naboo, offering over 2,500 locations and 500 partners for venue, catering, activities, and transportation options. This comprehensive approach allows companies to easily compare and book seminars, significantly reducing the time and effort typically involved in organizing such events.

The platform’s use of data and AI for customization sets it apart in the market, serving some of the largest French and international companies, including EDF, Payfit, Google, Chanel, Ikea, KPMG, Airbus, and BCG.

Maxime Eduardo, Co-founder and CEO of Naboo, expressed excitement about the company’s journey and its adoption among clients, attributing its success to the unique combination of ultra-customization and immediate booking capabilities offered by the platform.

Founded in 2022 by Maxime Eduardo, Antoine Servant, Lucien Bredin, and Jean-Louis Villeminot, Naboo has quickly grown to a team of 60, including 30 women, demonstrating its commitment to diversity and innovation in the tech industry.

Despite facing competition from platforms like Kactus, CVent, and Teamout.io, Naboo differentiates itself with its all-inclusive, instant booking service, setting a new standard for efficiency and convenience in the corporate seminar booking process.
