London-based Monq has emerged from stealth with a $3 million pre-seed round to launch its AI-driven negotiation platform built for enterprise procurement teams.

The round was led by Outward VC, joined by Cornerstone VC, Portfolio Ventures, Octopus Ventures, Endurance Ventures, Lakestar Halo, and several strategic angels.

Tackling a $10.4 Trillion Problem Hiding in Plain Sight

Founded in 2025 by former Revolut and Deutsche Bank leaders Yasin Bostancı and Duygu Gözeler Porchet, the startup targets one of the most overlooked inefficiencies across global corporations: how companies negotiate multimillion-dollar supplier contracts.

Enterprises routinely manage deals ranging from $1 million to $100 million, yet the workflows behind these negotiations remain slow, fragmented and heavily manual. Nearly a quarter of procurement time is still spent on low-value tasks, with decisions often informed more by instinct than structured data.

Monq aims to flip this dynamic.

AI Agents Built for High-Stakes Negotiations

Instead of layering AI on top of existing legacy processes, Monq introduces a multi-agent system that blends reasoning, behavioral science and contract intelligence. Each agent analyzes supplier performance, historical outcomes, market signals and negotiation patterns to predict likely responses, recommend strategic levers and—when permitted—drive parts of the negotiation autonomously.

Human teams stay fully in control, choosing when to collaborate with agents and when to delegate entire workstreams.

“Strategic procurement hasn’t truly undergone automation,” says CEO Yasin Bostancı. “It still runs on intuition. By equipping teams with intelligent, data-backed insights, we’re giving enterprises a new level of speed and precision—unlocking value that would otherwise disappear during the negotiation cycle.”

Scaling Across Global Procurement Teams

The new capital will accelerate Monq’s pilot deployments and support expansion across Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East. Funds will also be used to expand engineering and product teams as the company prepares for broader rollout.

Monq is launching on a subscription model, with plans to introduce value-based pricing tied directly to savings generated through the platform—a model well-suited for enterprise contracts where impact is measurable and immediate.
