European healthtech startup Mindoo has closed a €5 million seed funding round to accelerate the rollout of its AI-based workforce platform for hospitals and care providers.

The round was backed by 6DC, Syndicate One, and a group of strategic angel investors with experience across healthcare and enterprise software.

Solving Capacity Gaps In Healthcare Operations

Healthcare providers across Europe are under increasing strain as staffing shortages collide with rising patient demand. As a result, administrative and clinical workflows are often delayed, incomplete, or left undocumented due to a lack of available capacity.

Mindoo targets this gap by enabling healthcare organisations to deploy configurable AI agents that take over routine operational tasks. The platform allows teams to automate structured intake, draft clinical documentation, manage follow-up communication, and support front-desk interactions within a single governed system.

A Modular Agent-Based Platform

Mindoo currently offers four core AI agents that can be configured to match each hospital’s internal protocols, language requirements, and specialty-specific workflows.

These include a receptionist agent for patient registration and routine communication, a pre-visit agent that collects structured medical histories, a scribe agent that prepares notes, letters, and orders, and a follow-up agent that supports post-visit communication and care pathways.

Rather than forcing hospitals to adapt to rigid software, Mindoo’s platform is designed to adapt to existing processes. According to CEO and co-founder Gauthier Willemse, this flexibility is essential in healthcare environments where workflows are deeply embedded and highly regulated.

Early Deployments And Market Expansion

Mindoo is already live in hospital settings in Belgium and Germany and has been built to integrate with modern electronic health record systems.

As additional reference deployments come online, the company plans to expand into the Netherlands and France, using these early markets as a foundation for broader European growth.

Funding Use And Product Roadmap

The newly raised capital will be used to advance Mindoo’s platform toward production readiness across multiple medical specialties. The company will also grow its engineering, clinical, and deployment teams to support hospital onboarding and long-term customer success.

Mindoo’s long-term goal is to provide healthcare organisations with a scalable AI workforce layer that reduces administrative burden, preserves workflow control, and allows clinical staff to focus on patient care rather than operational overhead.

About Mindoo

Founded in 2025, Mindoo develops AI agents that automate routine healthcare workflows. By taking on time-consuming administrative tasks, the platform helps healthcare teams regain capacity, reduce stress, and focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
