Cybersecurity startup Mind The Hack has raised €2.8 million in a new funding round led by DEEP CAPITAL GROUP, the venture firm founded by Dimitris Maris, co-founder of Kaizen Gaming.

The investment will accelerate product development of the company’s AI-powered threat detection platform, expand its European engineering and research teams, and support international growth — with a strategic focus on the Middle East.

Building proactive, hacker-minded security

Founded in 2023 by Stavros Kirikos and George Rakitzis, Mind The Hack was created to address one of cybersecurity’s biggest challenges — the lag between identifying and mitigating emerging threats. Its cloud-based security platform combines AI-driven threat prediction, real-time monitoring, and automated vulnerability analysis to help organisations prevent attacks before they happen.

“Born out of the need for proactive, relentless security measures, Mind The Hack took a unique approach: to guard by thinking and acting like hackers — powered by artificial intelligence,” the company said in a statement.

The platform’s proprietary intelligence engine, Omnial, continuously analyses systems to uncover vulnerabilities, simulate potential attack paths, and generate instant compliance and risk reports. This predictive capability allows enterprises to stay ahead of threats in a constantly evolving digital landscape.

A smarter, continuous defence layer

Unlike traditional point solutions that focus on reactive protection, Mind The Hack’s system integrates continuous monitoring, proactive simulations, and human-led oversight. Its open architecture enables API and third-party integrations, allowing seamless adoption into existing security ecosystems without disrupting infrastructure.

Designed for scalability and adaptability, the platform offers customised protection that evolves with each organisation’s needs — from small businesses to national-scale entities.

Currently, Mind The Hack works with clients across aviation, telecommunications, banking, and public sector authorities, supporting critical infrastructure and enterprise security operations.

Backed by Greece’s growing tech ecosystem

Mind The Hack is part of SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and Elevate Greece, and has been recognised with The Hellenic Initiative’s Venture Impact Award.

The company’s latest funding signals growing investor confidence in Greece’s emerging cybersecurity sector and its ability to build globally competitive technology.

With this round, Mind The Hack plans to strengthen its R&D footprint, enhance the capabilities of Omnial, and expand its presence in high-demand international markets.

“Our mission is simple — to make organisations impossible to hack before hackers even try,” said co-founder Stavros Kirikos. “By combining AI with real-world attacker logic, we’re building a defence system that never sleeps, evolves continuously, and protects digital ecosystems at scale.”
