Paris-based cybersecurity startup Memority has raised €13 million in a Series A round to scale its Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) platform across Europe.
The funding was led by Tikehau Capital via its cybersecurity-focused investment strategy, Brienne.
Founded by Gilles Castéran, Francis Grégoire, Alexis de Calan, and Phouric Ung, Memority aims to modernise how businesses manage digital identities and access rights in an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape.
Reinventing identity and access management
Memority’s cloud-native platform, Identity Factory, is designed to centralise and streamline identity and access management (IAM) across employees, customers, partners, and devices. It combines capabilities like IGA, CIAM, SSO, MFA, and federation to help organisations secure digital assets while improving user experience.
According to the company, 85% of cyber incidents involve compromised digital identities, while France alone saw a 37% rise in attacks in 2022. Memority addresses this head-on by enabling faster deployment, reducing IAM project costs, and improving visibility into access permissions across organisations.
Fueling growth with new capital
The fresh funding will go toward accelerating product development, expanding the commercial team, and increasing Memority’s footprint across European markets. With the IAM market projected to reach widespread adoption by 2027, the company is positioning itself as a homegrown European leader in the space.
“We’re building a European champion,” said CEO Gilles Castéran, “by reinventing identity and access management for European organisations.” He added that the investment follows a year of strong momentum with adoption from both mid-sized and enterprise customers.
Positioned to lead Europe’s IAM evolution
With identity at the core of today’s cybersecurity needs, Memority is joining the ranks of companies aiming to secure operational performance, digital transformation, and technological sovereignty within the region. As more businesses shift to the cloud, demand for trusted, EU-based identity providers is only set to grow—and Memority is betting big on meeting that need.
