Kodree, a consumer edtech platform focused on AI-assisted learning, has secured $10 million in user acquisition financing from financial services firm PvX Partners.

The funding will be used to accelerate global marketing and expand the platform’s international user base as demand grows for digital skills training.

What The Company Does

Kodree operates a subscription-based learning platform designed to help users develop technical skills through structured courses and practical exercises.

The platform integrates an AI assistant that supports learners by suggesting solutions, reviewing answers, and providing feedback throughout the learning process. Instead of relying primarily on video-based instruction, Kodree emphasizes interactive practice, collaborative tasks, and project-based assignments.

Users work through guided learning paths that simulate real-world scenarios, allowing them to build practical experience while developing programming and technical skills.

Kodree also incorporates community-based learning features, encouraging participants to collaborate on projects and share knowledge as they progress through the curriculum.

Market Context / Industry Background

Demand for online education platforms has increased as individuals seek to acquire technical skills and transition into technology-related careers.

Many digital learning platforms offer self-paced courses and video-based instruction, but some educators have criticized passive learning formats for not providing enough practical experience.

More recent approaches to online education have focused on project-based learning and interactive tools designed to simulate real working environments.

Artificial intelligence is also being integrated into educational platforms to provide personalized feedback and automate parts of the learning process. AI assistants can help learners identify mistakes, suggest improvements, and adapt educational content based on individual progress.

Platforms combining AI guidance with hands-on practice are increasingly positioned as alternatives to traditional online course formats.

Founder / Investor Commentary

Kodree is led by CEO Oleksandr Bartosiuk, who previously served as Head of Product at Mate academy.

Bartosiuk said the platform focuses on practical learning experiences rather than passive instruction.

“About 80 percent of the learning process in Kodree is hands-on practice,” he said. “The AI assistant helps users move faster by suggesting solutions, checking answers, and providing feedback along the way.”

He added that the company believes practical exercises are more effective for building real technical skills than passive content consumption.

Kodree was developed by Rist Labs, a product studio founded by the creators of Mate academy—Roman Apostol, Anna Apostol, and Max Lysak.

Lysak said the studio was created to expand the team’s product experimentation efforts.

“At Mate academy, we’ve constantly experimented with new product ideas,” he said. “Over time, this evolved into a dedicated R&D direction. Rist Labs gives us a way to systematically build new global products.”

Growth Plans / Use Of Funds

Kodree plans to use the $10 million financing to increase global user acquisition and scale its marketing efforts in international markets.

The company currently serves users in more than 185 countries and aims to expand its reach among individuals seeking career transitions or professional skill development.

The financing provided by PvX Partners is structured as a credit facility designed specifically for growth-focused consumer applications.

PvX Partners specializes in cohort-based financing and provides non-dilutive capital to companies scaling digital platforms and consumer applications.

By focusing on user acquisition and product development, Kodree aims to strengthen its position within the global edtech market.
