AI recruitment startup Jack & Jill has raised $20 million in seed funding to accelerate global expansion and launch operations in the United States.
The round was led by Creandum, with participation from Ada Ventures, Dig Ventures, Entrepreneur First, Firedrop, Repeat.vc, Episode1, Playfair, and more than 75 angel investors — including Nico Rosberg and early backers from Lovable, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs.
AI Agents Transforming How Companies Hire
Founded in 2025, Jack & Jill uses agentic AI to simplify and personalize the hiring process.
Its two conversational AI agents work in tandem:
- Jack engages directly with job seekers, understanding their experience, preferences, and aspirations.
- Jill collaborates with employers, using insights from thousands of Jack’s interactions to surface the most qualified candidates.
“Agency recruiters are limited by their capacity, and job boards overwhelm both candidates and hiring teams,” said Saaras Mehan, Co-founder and CTO of Jack & Jill. “Our agents automate the tedious parts of recruiting while delivering a more human, intelligent experience for everyone involved.”
Rapid Growth and Proven Market Demand
In just six months since launch, Jack & Jill has engaged 49,000 job seekers and partnered with hundreds of London-based companies, helping employers cut time-to-hire, improve candidate quality, and reduce recruitment costs.
The company’s 12-person team is now preparing for its U.S. debut in San Francisco, aiming to replicate its early success in one of the world’s largest recruitment markets.
“Jack & Jill is one of the most exciting agentic AI businesses we’ve seen,” said Peter Specht, General Partner at Creandum. “Their traction proves massive demand for intelligent recruiting automation. We’re confident Matthew, Saaras, and the team are leading a transformation in how companies hire — and we can’t wait to see the impact in the U.S.”
