The European Commission has announced the finalists for the Innovation Radar Prize 2025, an annual initiative celebrating the most promising EU-funded startups and innovators.
The prestigious event will be held on 10 November 2025 at the AI Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa, coinciding with the Web Summit Investor Day. Organised in partnership with Dealflow.eu and Unicorn Factory Lisboa, the event will bring together top innovators, investors, corporates, and ecosystem leaders from across Europe.
Celebrating Europe’s Innovation Potential
Twelve EU-backed startups have been selected to pitch their groundbreaking solutions across three categories — AI & Digital Intelligence, Smart Hardware & Robotics, and Climate, Energy & Mobility. These innovators are competing for the Innovation Radar Prize 2025, which recognises excellence in commercialising research-driven technologies.

About the Innovation Radar Prize
The Innovation Radar is a European Commission initiative that identifies high-potential innovations emerging from EU-funded research projects. Since its inception in 2015, the Innovation Radar Prize has served as a springboard for startups on their path to commercialisation and growth.
After the success of the first in-person edition in 2023—which gathered over 200 participants and 100+ investors—the 2025 edition aims to further strengthen Europe’s innovation landscape by connecting startups with the capital, partnerships, and visibility they need to scale.
The Innovation Radar Prize 2025 is co-organised by the European Commission, Dealflow.eu, and Unicorn Factory Lisboa, with the support of Dealroom.co, the European Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA), EU-Startups, and other partners.
