London-based Incard, a financial platform built for fast-scaling digital companies, has raised £10 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Smartfin, with participation from Founders Capital, MountFund, and a group of angel investors.

The new capital will support Incard’s ambition to simplify and modernise how high-growth businesses manage their financial operations, bringing banking, payments, and financial tooling into a single, scalable system.

Building a financial operating system for digital-first companies

Incard was created to address the fragmentation of traditional business banking, where founders and finance teams are forced to manage cash flow, spending, invoicing, and payments across multiple disconnected tools.

Launched in 2024 by Theo Cesarini, Soraya Tribouillois, Liam Seskis, and Matteo Martino, the platform brings these functions together into one financial operating system designed to grow alongside digital businesses.

The platform centralises banking, payments, corporate cards, and connected accounts, offering real-time visibility into cash flow and spending. It also supports industry-specific workflows and modular add-ons tailored to different growth stages.

A control layer for the modern financial stack

According to CEO Theo Cesarini, the startup acts as a control layer for the financial stack of high-growth digital companies, enabling them to better manage, automate, and optimise their finances as complexity increases.

Businesses using Incard can extend the platform through the Incard App Store, adding tools such as invoicing, spend management, treasury, working capital, and other financial capabilities depending on their needs.

The platform has gained traction among high-growth companies across the UK and Europe, particularly those with heavy advertising spend, foreign exchange exposure, or multi-entity operating structures.

Expansion plans and product development

With the Series A funding, the company plans to expand into new markets, including the United States and additional European countries. The company will also invest in product development, with a focus on automation and AI-powered financial workflows.

Team growth is another priority, particularly across engineering, compliance, and product, as Incard scales its platform to serve a broader base of digital businesses.
