Warsaw-based Holi, a digital obesity treatment platform, has raised €3 million in seed funding to expand its virtual clinic across Europe and further develop its AI-powered metabolic health technology.

The round was led by 4growth VC, with participation from YZR Capital, Heartfelt Capital, and several business angels.

“Obesity treatment requires continuity and the integration of multiple medical competencies,” said Paweł Seweryn, Founder and CEO of Holi. “Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, tech-enabled approach that drives lasting improvement in metabolic health. This funding allows us to scale internationally—starting with Southern and Eastern Europe—while enhancing our digital platform.”

A hybrid model for next-generation obesity care

Founded in 2023, Holi combines medical expertise—from doctors, psychodietitians, psychologists, and physiotherapists—with a data-driven digital platform. The system enables personalized therapy plans, real-time treatment adjustments, and continuous progress tracking through its mobile and web applications.

The company’s approach integrates GLP-1-based treatments such as Ozempic and Wegovy, combining pharmacotherapy with behavioral support and lifestyle interventions. The result: sustainable outcomes at a lower cost.

“The future of obesity treatment is hybrid—AI for precision, specialists for human impact,” said Jan Kundziołka, Co-founder and Head of Product. “Our system analyses patient data continuously and adjusts care dynamically, bringing smarter medication use and better results.”

Strong clinical outcomes and rapid growth

Holi reports that its patients achieve an average 17% weight reduction after 12 months—1.5x higher than medication alone—while reducing drug costs by up to 50% through optimized dosing and behavioral coaching.

With obesity affecting over 150 million Europeans, the market for digital-first obesity care is expanding rapidly. The European obesity treatment sector is now valued between €40–50 billion, driven by rising demand for GLP-1 therapies and accessible private healthcare options.

“Holi delivers measurable results through a model that’s both scalable and clinically effective,” said Krzysztof Bachta, Managing Partner at 4growth VC. “It’s a rare combination of medical rigor, digital efficiency, and affordability.”

Scaling across Europe

The new funding will support Holi’s European expansion, AI and diagnostics development, and automation of care workflows. The company will also enhance engagement features to help patients maintain motivation and long-term success.

“Since our first investment, Holi has shown impressive clinical outcomes and rapid scaling without compromising quality,” said Markus Feuerecker, Co-founder and Managing Partner at YZR Capital. “That’s why we decided to double down in this round.”
