Go Swag, the Glasgow-based corporate gifting platform focused on premium branded merchandise and global fulfilment, has raised $5 million in funding led by Mercia Ventures, with participation from Techstart Ventures and strategic angel investors.
The latest round brings the company’s total funding to $6.2 million.
Founded in 2019, Go Swag works with more than 1,000 companies including Meta, Apple, Netflix, ElevenLabs, and n8n.
The company says it has achieved five consecutive years of triple-digit growth and is now accelerating expansion into the United States.
Modernising A Trillion-Dollar Industry
The corporate gifting market is projected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2028, yet much of the industry still relies on fragmented suppliers, outdated catalogues, and low-quality merchandise.
Many businesses struggle to manage sourcing, international logistics, customs, inventory, and recipient administration when running gifting programmes at scale.
Go Swag aims to modernise the category through a technology-driven platform that combines AI-powered product curation with global fulfilment and recipient management infrastructure.
The platform enables businesses to manage onboarding kits, employee recognition gifts, branded merchandise, customer campaigns, and event gifting programmes through a single system.
AI-Powered Product Curation And Automation
At the core of the platform is Go Swag’s proprietary AI engine, Sonny™, which generates curated gifting recommendations tailored to each brand and campaign.
The company also developed Claim Pages™, a recipient management system that collects addresses and sizing details directly from recipients, reducing administrative workload and helping avoid fulfilment issues.
Its infrastructure includes warehouse operations across the UK, the Netherlands, and the United States, providing companies with real-time visibility into inventory, orders, and programme performance.
Go Swag says its platform helps companies transform gifting from an operational burden into a strategic brand channel.
One example includes co-branded Go Swag vending machines deployed across Meta’s London offices.
Expanding Globally
The new funding will support international expansion, particularly in the United States, while also financing a new warehouse operation in Southeast Asia to strengthen global distribution capabilities.
The company plans to grow its team from 30 to 70 employees across engineering, operations, growth, and sales functions.
Additional investment will focus on expanding automation capabilities across quoting, account management, fulfilment, and recommendation systems.
“Corporate gifting became a trillion-dollar industry despite decades of poor customer experience and operational inefficiency,” said Conor McKenna.
“We built Go Swag around the belief that every gift either strengthens a brand or quietly damages it. Our goal is to replace outdated catalogue-based gifting with intelligent AI-assisted curation and a far better global gifting experience.”
