E-commerce marketing platform Glowtify has raised $3.4 million CAD in seed funding to accelerate growth ahead of the 2025 holiday shopping season.
The Funding was co-led by Accelia Capital and Graphite Ventures. Telegraph Ventures, Sprout Fund, DevCap, and several angel investors also participated in the round.
The startup, founded by Marc Allard and his team, helps small and mid-sized e-commerce marketing teams automate campaign planning, execution, and analysis through AI. Described as a “command center for marketing leaders,” Glowtify aggregates data from multiple channels, identifies trends, and generates personalized campaign recommendations — enabling teams to produce up to four times more content without adding headcount.
“We set out to scale our holiday go-to-market and maximize market share,” said Marc Allard, CEO and co-founder. “Small teams shouldn’t have to choose between speed and craft. Glowtify exists to give them both.”
From agency roots to AI-driven growth
The company emerged from Allard’s digital agency, Walter Interactive, after the team identified a growing need to unify fragmented marketing data. The platform now integrates with tools like Shopify, WordPress, Klaviyo, and ChatGPT, connecting marketing performance and creative insights into a single workflow.
Since launching last year, the firm has grown from zero to $1 million CAD in annual revenue and now employs 25 people across Canada. The company plans to triple revenue in 2026 by doubling down on AI engineering and expanding its North American client base — particularly among Shopify-powered e-commerce brands.
“We’ve followed Glowtify since the early stages,” said Kevin Madill, Partner at Graphite Ventures. “Their team has shown exceptional execution, rapid sales growth, and capital efficiency. They’ve built a true ‘painkiller’ product for e-commerce marketers.”
Positioned for a changing retail landscape
While Canadian consumers are expected to spend up to 10% less on holiday shopping this year, according to PwC Canada, U.S. spending is projected to surpass $1 trillion USD for the first time — a major opportunity for Glowtify’s cross-border clients.
The startup’s focus on marketing teams of two to five people gives it an edge in an increasingly competitive landscape, where smaller teams are expected to deliver enterprise-level performance. Glowtify’s AI-driven insights and automation aim to free up marketers to focus on strategy and creativity rather than managing tools.
“Glowtify has refined its focus to empower small teams to operate like large ones,” said Allard. “Our technology is built to help them move faster, with more clarity and less complexity.”
