Framer, the Amsterdam-based no-code website design platform, has raised $100 million (€85.6M) in a Series D round led by existing investors Meritech and Atomico, with participation from WiL (World Innovation Lab) and HV Capital.
The raise values the company at $2 billion (€1.7B).
The new capital will be used to scale in the US, invest in AI features, and strengthen product and go-to-market teams.
Redefining web design for businesses
Founded in 2015 by Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk, Framer provides a professional-grade, no-code builder that combines design flexibility with a modern content management system (CMS). Unlike traditional platforms like Wix and Squarespace, Framer targets startups, agencies, and enterprises seeking high-performance websites without relying on front-end engineering teams.
Its toolkit includes on-page editing, animations, forms, analytics, A/B testing, and real-time collaboration, making it especially attractive for scaling businesses.
“Designers and marketers can now ship production-ready sites in days, not months—without waiting on developers,” said CEO Koen Bok. “That means faster, better-looking websites built directly where the brand lives.”
Rapid adoption and growth
Framer has seen a surge in enterprise and startup adoption, with 40% of the latest Y Combinator batch using its platform. Companies like Scale AI, Perplexity, Miro, and Bilt are already customers.
The platform now powers hundreds of thousands of websites and has over 500,000 monthly active users. Since introducing tailored business plans in 2024, enterprises have become its fastest-growing customer segment.
With this latest funding, Framer is positioning itself as the go-to platform for companies that need brand-defining websites with AI-driven efficiency.
