Toulouse-based startup Donecle has raised €10 million to accelerate its international growth and further develop its drone and AI-powered aircraft inspection technology.
The round was co-led by IRDI Capital Investissement and SWEN Capital Partners, with additional participation from GSO Innovation and ARIS Occitanie.
Transforming Aircraft Inspections With Drones And AI
Founded in 2015, Donecle has developed a patented solution that combines autonomous drones, high-resolution imaging, and advanced artificial intelligence to automate aircraft inspections.
The technology significantly reduces inspection times—by up to 10x—while improving safety, reliability, and traceability compared to traditional manual processes.

Proven Technology Across Global Aviation
Donecle’s system is already deployed in more than 15 countries, with over 40 operational drones serving commercial, business, and military aviation clients. Its solution is approved by major aviation authorities and has been adopted by leading industry players.
From Inspections To Predictive Maintenance
Beyond automation, the company is building a software platform that converts inspection data into actionable insights. By integrating with maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) systems, Donecle aims to enable predictive maintenance and improve long-term asset management for aircraft operators.
Scaling Technology And Global Reach
The newly raised funding will be used to expand the team, advance AI capabilities, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support international expansion—particularly across Europe and the United States.
At the same time, Donecle is contributing to broader aviation sustainability goals by reducing reliance on traditional inspection methods and enabling more efficient maintenance workflows.
