AI-powered patent platform DeepIP has raised $25 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $40 million.

The round was co-led by Korelya Capital and Serena, with participation from Balderton and Headline.

AI Embedded Across The Patent Lifecycle

DeepIP develops workflow-integrated AI tools designed to support patent professionals throughout the full patent lifecycle, from early-stage invention documentation and drafting to enforcement and portfolio management.

The platform is designed to integrate directly into existing patent workflows and software systems used by law firms and corporate intellectual property teams. By embedding AI capabilities within established tools, the company aims to help teams improve efficiency without requiring major changes to their working processes.

According to the company, this approach helps increase adoption rates compared with standalone AI tools, enabling legal teams to incorporate AI assistance more naturally into daily patent work.

Supporting Law Firms And Corporate IP Teams

Patent development typically involves long, collaborative processes that span multiple teams and years of work. DeepIP’s platform focuses on maintaining continuity across these processes, allowing users to manage documentation, track decisions, and collaborate on patent-related tasks within a single environment.

The platform is currently used by patent law firms and corporate IP departments in Europe and the United States, including organizations such as Greenberg Traurig, Mewburn Ellis, Dexcom, and Philips.

Founder Background

DeepIP was founded in 2024 by François-Xavier Leduc and Edouard d’Archimbaud, who previously served as CEO and CTO of data-centric AI company Kili Technology. Kili Technology continues to operate independently alongside the new venture.

The founders developed DeepIP in response to limitations they observed in earlier AI tools used in legal work, which often focused on automating isolated tasks rather than supporting the full workflow of patent development.

Use Of Funding

The Series B funding will support product development, expansion of the platform’s AI capabilities, and further growth in key markets including Europe and the United States.

By embedding AI directly into patent workflows, the company aims to streamline drafting, improve collaboration across teams, and help intellectual property professionals manage increasingly complex patent portfolios.

About DeepIP

DeepIP is an AI-powered platform designed for patent professionals, helping law firms and corporate IP teams draft, manage, and enforce patents more efficiently. By integrating directly into existing workflows, the platform aims to reduce preparation time and improve the overall quality and consistency of patent development processes.
