Madrid-based Dedge Security, the first Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform built specifically for Web3, has closed a €4 million seed round led by Spanish venture firm Tritemius.

Founded by Rubén Jiménez and Paco Moral, Dedge provides continuous security for smart contracts, decentralised applications, and blockchain infrastructure. Its platform integrates security directly into CI/CD pipelines and delivers real-time visibility into risk across the entire dApp lifecycle.

A new layer of defense for Web3 ecosystems

Dedge’s solution brings together AppSec and DevOps under one roof, offering developers automated intelligence, risk insights, and remediation tools. Its “code-to-node” model aims to eliminate the need for manual audits, protecting both live deployments and active development workflows.

Tritemius, which focuses on Web3 innovation, backed Dedge Security for its team’s deep cybersecurity expertise and potential to set new industry standards. “Cybersecurity is critical to Web3’s future, and Dedge is well-positioned to lead,” said Tritemius CEO Luis Pastor.

Scaling to meet growing demand

With this fresh capital, Dedge Security plans to accelerate global growth, invest in its engineering team, and expand its presence among enterprise Web3 developers. The founders believe robust security infrastructure is essential for wider institutional adoption of blockchain.

“We’re solving one of the most complex challenges in Web3,” said CEO Rubén Jiménez. “This investment enables us to move faster and protect developers at every stage.”
