Milan-based Cosmico has secured €12 million in combined equity and debt financing as the company accelerates its expansion across the future-of-work and creator economy sectors.
The round was led by P101 SGR, with participation from existing investor Prana Ventures.
Expanding Through Acquisitions
Alongside the funding announcement, Cosmico confirmed the full acquisition of Flatmates, a creator economy agency operating across Italy, Spain, and the United States.
Cosmico had previously acquired a majority stake in the company in 2024 and has now taken full ownership as part of its broader consolidation strategy.
Founded in 2021, Flatmates works with creators and global brands on partnerships, content production, and editorial initiatives. Its client portfolio includes companies such as Ducati, Google, Xiaomi, NordVPN, Trade Republic, and Generali.

Building A Future-Of-Work Holding Company
Founded by Francesco Marino, Simone Tornabene, and Matteo Roversi, Cosmico has evolved beyond its original talent marketplace model into a broader future-of-work holding company.
The group now operates across multiple areas including digital talent infrastructure, AI-driven team design, creator economy services, and employee engagement solutions.
The firm says it currently supports a network of more than 35,000 digital professionals and works with over 300 clients across Italy and Spain, with teams based in Milan and Madrid.
Funding To Support Further Expansion
The newly raised capital will support the company’s next phase of growth, including plans for three additional acquisitions by the end of 2026.
According to Francesco Marino, CEO and co-founder, the company is positioning itself as a multi-vertical platform focused on the long-term transformation of work.
“Cosmico has evolved far beyond a single-product scale-up. We are building a future-of-work holding company with multiple business verticals and a growth strategy strongly focused on strategic acquisitions,” he said.
