Munich-based enterprise software company ClearOps has raised €8.6 million in Series A funding to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered after-sales platform for industrial manufacturers and dealer networks.

The round was led by Hitachi Ventures, with additional participation from Schoeller Group and Barkawi Group. The investment marks the company’s first institutional financing round.

Building An AI Layer For Industrial Service Networks

Founded in 2020, ClearOps develops software designed to connect OEMs, dealers, service providers, and industrial machines through a unified operational platform.

Its system focuses on improving spare parts planning, predictive maintenance, and service coordination across global industrial networks.

The company aims to replace disconnected and manual after-sales workflows with real-time, AI-driven infrastructure that helps manufacturers reduce downtime, improve operational visibility, and strengthen customer support operations.

ClearOps says its platform integrates into existing enterprise systems and enables companies to automate service workflows while improving forecasting and parts availability across complex supply chains.

Customers include industrial groups such as AGCO, Terex, Jungheinrich, and Lippert.

Expanding AI Capabilities And Global Operations

The new capital will be used to support international expansion, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, scale go-to-market operations, and further develop the company’s AI functionality.

Headquartered in Munich, ClearOps also operates offices in Lisbon, Atlanta, and San José and currently employs around 60 people globally.

According to founder and CEO William Barkawi, industrial service operations are facing growing pressure as equipment becomes increasingly connected and customer expectations around uptime continue to rise.

“Manufacturers and dealer networks need to predict, coordinate, and execute service operations in real time,” Barkawi said.

“Our goal is to build the AI operating system for industrial after-sales and ensure the right parts and services are available before downtime occurs.”
