Blue Longevity Clinic, a healthtech startup focused on longevity medicine, has secured €2 million in funding to scale its operations across Southeast Europe.

The round was led by Eleven Ventures, with participation from Sofia Angels Ventures and several family offices.

The funds will be used to open new clinics in Athens, Istanbul, and Sofia by September 2025. Additionally, the company will invest in its proprietary AI diagnostics engine, expand its medical team, and build out therapy protocols that include cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and red light therapy.

Making longevity medicine accessible

Founded by Ilian Grigorov, the company aims to shift healthcare from reactive sick care to proactive healthspan optimization. The Blue Longevity Clinic uses advanced diagnostics to monitor early-stage changes in key biological systems and prescribes physician-led wellness plans supported by a mobile app that promotes microhabit-based behavior change.

“Longevity is not a single test or therapy – it’s a journey,” said Grigorov. “We’re building a new kind of health centre – one that people don’t just visit once a year, but one that becomes part of their lifestyle.”

Support from seasoned investors

Eleven Ventures and Sofia Angels Ventures see great potential in the startup’s approach. “We believe the SEE region has the potential to become a hub for medical and longevity tourism,” said Valeri Petrov, Partner at Eleven Ventures. Milen Ivanov of Sofia Angels added, “The science is already advancing at scale. This will become a trillion-euro industry.”

Blue Longevity Clinic aims to democratize access to elite wellness tools traditionally reserved for wealthy individuals, targeting the region’s upper-middle class who currently pay high out-of-pocket healthcare costs. With the new investment, the startup is positioning itself as the first integrated preventive health platform in the region.
