Arvist, a supply chain tech startup, has raised $4M in a seed round led by Rackhouse Venture Capital to scale Arvist QC, its plug-and-play AI vision solution for warehouse quality control.

Most warehouse losses occur at loading docks, where errors like overages, shortages, and damages (OSD) can cost operators 2–10% of annual revenue. Traditional automation is slow and expensive, while manual fixes add labor costs in an already tight market.

Arvist QC offers a modular “QC in a Box” kit that integrates with existing infrastructure like security cameras and WMS systems. Warehouses can deploy the system in a day, instantly automating quality checks at dock doors, conveyors, and packing stations.

CEO Nilay Parikh explains:

“For decades, operators had to choose between losses, costly automation, or more labor. Arvist QC brings affordable AI vision tech to warehouses of any size, making operations faster, safer, and more efficient.”

Backed by strong investor lineup

The round included Kompas Ventures, Foster Ventures, Mana Ventures, Veddis Ventures, Iron Prairie Ventures, and Geek Ventures. The firm has previously been supported by Techstars, Nvidia Inception, Plug-and-Play Alberta, and was named one of Chicago’s top startups to watch in 2024.

Kevin Novak, General Partner at Rackhouse, adds:

Arvist is fixing problems at the dock—where small mistakes become million-dollar losses. Their traction proves the system works, and that’s why we backed them.”

Scaling globally

With the new funding, the startup will expand deployments across the U.S., LATAM, and Europe, while continuing R&D to enhance accuracy and extend capabilities to non-boxed products.

Founded in Chicago, the company is positioning itself as the go-to solution for warehouses seeking instant, scalable quality control in a $50B+ market gap.
